The Brook Series Collapsible Landing Net features an original designed sturdy yet lightweight 3D-printed handle, a collapsible nitinol frame (stronger than stainless steel) that securely holds your catch, and a silicone rubber fish-friendly mesh that prevents hooks from snagging. Each net comes with a special treated stain-free leather pouch and a belt clip (net and pouch can be sold separately). Handle and pouch are available in black and dark green, rubber netting available in black and clear. (Other netting options are available.). Recommended holding weight:
Regular nitinol frame with 5.5" regular handle: below 2.5 lb.
Stiff nitinol frame with 6.5" long handle: below 5 lb.
Important Notice:
When opening for the first time, be extra careful with the nitinol frame. Hold all three collapsing loops of the frame with one hand, and use the other hand to pull the leather pouch without releasing the frame. Point it toward an open area before releasing the frame. Watch your fingers, as the frame can spring out quickly when released.
When folding the net, hold the top of the frame with one hand and the handle with the other. Slowly twist and compress until the frame collapses into three small loops. Use your fingers to grab all loops with the hand holding the handle. Gently tuck the rubber net back into the leather pouch. Do not release the frame during this process.
We do not recommend collapsing the net and placing it back in the pouch every time you catch a fish. Using the magnetic quick release, which can be attached to your belt or the back of your vest, will allow excess water to dry off the rubber net.
