Material: Unlike vinyl or paint, our protective skin offers the perfect thickness to shield your reel from dents and scratches while maintaining a comfortable grip. Even if your reel already has imperfections, the skin can smooth out the appearance after application. It’s durable, long-lasting, and leaves no residue when removed.
Application: Applying the protective skin is simple:
Clean the reel with the provided alcohol pad.
Peel off a piece of the skin and spray the adhesive side with pure water.
Find an easy starting edge and apply the skin to the reel.
Wipe away excess water once you’re satisfied with the placement.
(Optional) For reels with curved surfaces, gently use a blow dryer to soften the skin for better adhesion (e.g., cover side of 24 Steez SV TW).
The skin pieces are grouped by sides (e.g., top, back). Simply match the large pieces with the characteristic edges of your reel, then apply the smaller pieces. If you encounter any difficulties, refer to our tutorial on YouTube or contact us—we’re happy to assist.
Important Notice:
Avoid touching the sticky side with your fingers to prevent fingerprints.
When using plastic tweezers to pick up the skin, apply gentle force to avoid damage.
When lifting the skin, use a 45-degree angle to prevent residue.
